• 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • Olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • Dash crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 large can (28 oz) of diced tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 2 cups uncooked macaroni


Prepare a large pot of boiling water and begin cooking the macaroni according to the package instructions.
Brown the ground beef in a skillet with a tablespoon of olive oil over high heat. Just stir infrequently enough to cause the ground beef to brown.

On medium high heat, sauté chopped onion in a large skillet with a tablespoon of olive oil. Reduce the heat to medium and add the ground beef.
Apply a pinch of red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper. Add celery seed to the mix. Toss in the canned tomatoes. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a low boil, then reduce to a low heat for 5 minutes.

Mix in the drained and cooked macaroni and parsley. Simmer for another 5 minutes
