APPLE SANDWICHES WITH GRANOLA AND PEANUT BUTTER AND MORE




These peanut butter and apple sandwiches are a fun way to change up snack time!  My kids love to eat them after lunch, and they only need 3 ingredients!



INGREDIENTS


1 tablespoon rolled oats


1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon


3 tablespoons unsweetened peanut butter


3/4 teaspoon honey


1 tablespoon raisins


1 medium apple


INSTRUCTIONS


Combine rolled oats and cinnamon in a dry skillet over medium heat and toast, stirring occasionally, until oats are golden brown. Allow to cool before using.


Stir in the peanut butter and honey.


Core the apple and cut into 6 slices. "If you don't have a core, you can slice the apple first and then use a small corer or knife to cut out the seeds.


Spread 1 tablespoon of peanut butter on 3 of the apple slices and sprinkle with raisins and oatmeal. Form sandwiches with the remaining apple slices.
